We are Accelerating Climate Action
At ClimateNow, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating climate action and reducing emissions in Uganda within years, not decades. Our vision is to create a zero-carbon society built by and for the people of Uganda. To achieve this, our mission is to empower Ugandans to take decisive action against the climate crisis. We focus on key areas including energy, transport, food, and solid waste management.

What We Do
We collaborate with numerous private businesses and government agencies to secure ambitious commitments that drive significant climate impact. We mobilize resources to invest in clean energy, climate-smart food systems, zero-emission transportation, and innovative waste management solutions.
Our work supports advancements that produce sufficient renewable energy to power the nation, accelerate the transition to cleaner cooking methods and electric vehicles, and help reduce reliance on biomass fuels while speeding up the phase-out of petrol and diesel.
